I had been an accountant for many years, but in 2001 I gave up that career and started on my horticultural adventure. A year at Pershore College, combined with working part-time for Bob Brown at Cotswold Garden Flowers, gave me a very good experience of the industry.

I opened my tiny nursery in 2003, working at Cotswold Garden Flowers and its sister organisation, JustMust Perennials at the same time.  I started to sell plants at Farmers' Markets and various Plant Fairs round Gloucestershire.

I ran, with another horticulturalist, Rare Plant Fairs for several years, which continue to  offer the visitor a very good day out.
